The Brewery
Established in 2019 by three friends, Grillen’s Brewery is both a brewpub, where the beers and the different recipes are crafted on site and a place where you can discover and enjoy our latest beer range.
Located in the city of Colmar (Alsace, France) in the Grillenbreit neighbourhood, the brewery sits within an old cotton manufacture “Berglas-Kiener” witch was standing there back in the day. It is still possible to admire the XIX old century plant construction including its impressive red brick chimney.
Nowadays the neighbourhood also welcomes a concert hall, a university and several business and shops nearby. As you can see, the brewery is implanted in an active and a lovely place where we have the desire to play our part in.

Since they can remember, Luc, Thibaut and Jean-Cyril before becoming business partners they are first of all very good friends. Their previous and complementary professional experience are one of the main asset of their success.
Luc
After working 7 years in the malting industries and graduating from sales & marketing, I decided to focus on my passion for beer and make it my new line of work. I wish to share this experience with others by creating our own beer range. My goal is to be part of the French beer culture evolution inspired by so many worldwide and local, with this motto :

Thibaut
My passion for beer was triggered during a journey I did in California which is one of the most emblematic place for hand-crafted beer I have seen. Their true passion for the product and their creativity has really inspired me. After 10 years working in the wine and spirit industry including travelling around the world, I have decided to start a new chapter in my life by getting involved in the creation of craft beer.

Jean-Cyril
In 2014, freshly graduated in wine business I brewed beer for the first time and it was a blast! I instantly knew that it will be part of my life and become one day a project I would enjoy expanding at a larger scale. Since then, I have traveled a lot and I tried to discover different types of beer, tast, flavor, culture which give me today the desire to pass down those emotions and awareness to you.
